The Karate Kitty
It was that sweet orange cat, Ernie—you know, the one that hates dogs. He taught him how to defend himself: Paws on, Paws off, like the Karate Kid. I had never seen anything like it. I laughed until my jaws ached. I called the millennials to see what in the world kind of cat fighting style this was. It was more like posing, but it was reminiscent of the praying mantis pose from the movie 'The Karate Kid.' The dog just stood there, just as confused as I was. She looked at me, and I looked at her and shrugged. My hubby called him the long cat. I said, 'His name is Tyson.' He responded, 'Whatever. All I know is he went running down the stairs, and the folding chair slid down behind him. Tell the girls to keep the chairs off of the landing...'to be continued
